The Fourteenth Annual Red Helmets Ride will take place on Saturday, October 6, 2012. All bikers are invited to participate in this show of support for America's fallen fire heroes and their survivors.

Staging will be in the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Department (79 West Frederick Street) parking lot in Walkersville, MD. (Exit 17 off US 15 N to merge onto MD-26 E/Liberty Rd toward MD-194/Libertytown/Walkersville; If coming South on Rt.15, take Monocacy Rd to left Rt.26E) beginning a 2 p.m. The Police escorted ride to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, MD will leave at 3:30 p.m. This is a rain or shine ride all will ride at your own risk. No registration is required, just ride and show your support to the families of the Fallen Firefighters.

Also, there will be group leaving from the Anne Arundel County Fire and Rescue Headquarters in Millersville, MD (Veterans Hwy near Benfield Blvd). We will stage beginning at 12:00 p.m. Police escorted ride to the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Department will leave at 1:00 p.m.

The procession will ride through downtown Emmitsburg on the way to campus.

After arriving on campus, the bikers will hold a wreath laying ceremony at the National Monument. When arriving on Campus, all riders are to follow the parking directions by Security Personnel.
