The Eleventh Annual Red Helmets Ride will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2009. All bikers are invited to participate in this show of support for America's fallen fire heroes and their survivors.

Staging will be in the COSTCO parking lot in Frederick, MD. (Walser Dr and Market St off I70 - Exit 54) beginning a 2 p.m. The Police escorted ride to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, MD will leave at 3:30 p.m. This is a rain or shine ride all will ride at your own risk. No registration is required, just ride and show your support to the families of the Fallen Firefighters.

Also, there will be group leaving from the Anne Arundel County Fire and Rescue Headquarters in Millersville, MD (Veterans Hwy near Benfield Blvd). We will stage beginning at 12:30 p.m. Police escorted ride to the COSTCO will leave at 1:30 p.m.

The procession will ride through downtown Emmitsburg on the way to campus.

After arriving on campus, the bikers will hold a wreath laying ceremony at the National Monument. When arriving on Campus, all riders are to follow the parking directions by Security Personnel.
