John Proels

John ProelsJohn Proels started working with the Foundation in 2007. He serves as the National Coordinator for the Local Assistance State Team (LAST) Project, which was created by the Foundation to provide immediate assistance to departments that experience a line-of-duty death. John served with the Prince George’s County Fire Department, working his way up through the ranks from the position of firefighter to that of Deputy Chief for Field Operations. He lives in Lothian, Maryland.
