Ashley Whitmore joined the Foundation as a receptionist in the Emmitsburg office in 2014. She currently assists with Firehero Family Programs, Memorial Weekend hotels and transportation and the Remembrance Card Program. Prior to working with the NFFF, Ashley worked for the Campus Safety Department at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Ashley grew up around the fire service. Her father retired from the City of Alexandria (Virginia) Fire Department in 2009 after 23 years of service. Ashley resides in Adams County, PA with her husband and their children.
