B. F. Chesnut‚ 67‚ a member of the Brazos Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on February 18‚ 1999‚ after suffering a heart attack at the scene of a fire. He was a charter member of the department and served his community for over 21 years. During that time‚ he built three department trucks.
