Carl ‘Big O’ Olsen‚ 41‚ a member of the Kiln Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on January 5‚ 1999‚ when he was struck by a vehicle at the scene of a mobile home fire. He had served as a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years. His wife and other members of the family are also active in the local department.
