Chris married his high school sweetheart. He was a wonderful husband and an amazing father. He has two sons‚ Sean age 7‚ and Brian‚ age 5. He loved spending time with his sons teaching them all of the things that he loved like kayaking‚ camping‚ hiking‚ fishing‚ skiing‚ and cooking. He loved spending time with his family. He lived life to the fullest.
He was big‚ strong‚ and athletic with a heart of gold. He loved being a fireman. He was the kind of guy that everyone liked.
We miss him!

Hello Delores,
– Cheryl WestphalToday I was walking by our fire department and there was a rose with the picture of every firefighter that lost their life on 9-11. The roses were for anyone that would like to take and honor the officer in any any way they wanted. I was on my way to the bank and decided I would take one on my way back to work. BUT…several steps further I noticed the picture on the ground of what I have found to be your husband Christopher. First let me say I honor him and my prayers today will be for you and your family and every year on this day forward.
But I also wanted to say, I believe I was meant to find HIS picture. My daughter is about to accept a proposal in marriage from her boyfriend…Sean Sullivan. I pray that he will become half the man your husband Christopher I’m sure was.
I will keep the picture, and it will inspire me to remember Christopher and this day in honor and celebration on his life and maybe, I hope, he will send little messages to our Sean, coaching him to be the best husband he can be. Thank you and may you find happiness and joy in this email.

Sept 11, 2021 on the 20th year anniversary of 9/11 my 8 year old son climbed 110 flights in your honor. This was his first full stair climb in Binghamton, NY. He climbed alongside his volunteer firefighter father. We will never forget!
– DoriToday I ran a 5k in Sacramento for the tunnel to towers foundation. Out of all the fallen I picked you to honor today for our run. I’m still honored 100% after for the fact after your sacrifice. God speed buddy.
– Eric ForsmannHi Dolores,
I will be climbing in Christopher’s honour for the 2022 Melbourne Firefighter Stair climb.
I served in the Global war on terror in Afghanistan alongside Americans and I am
Proud to be climbing in Christopher’s memory.
He will not be forgotten.
– Chris MayI and the honor of carrying Chris with me today at the Nashville Memorial Stair Climb. It was an honor to ring the final bell and announce his new for all to hear. The climb was hot and miserable but does not compare to what Chris would have experienced on that day. Rest easy sir, Never Forget.
