Joseph F. Tagliareni‚ Jr.‚ 34‚ a volunteer with the Secaucus Volunteer Fire Department‚ died on June 13‚ 1999‚ after suffering a heart attack 13 days earlier. He had collapsed while responding to an automobile fire on the New Jersey Turnpike. A Marine Corps veteran and owner of a local trucking company‚ Tagliareni had been a volunteer firefighter for 16 years.
