  7. I bought a bracelet with your name on it after the 9/11 attacks. I chose a firefighter because my uncle is a firefighter. I wore it until it cracked and I couldn’t wear it anymore. Every 9/11 I write your initials on the inside of the wrist that I used to wear the bracelet on. I’m pretty sure I’m going to tattoo it there permanently. I think of you almost daily.Thank you for your sacrifice.

  10. I was his mentor at Roslyn Highlands even if I was not a member, but we got along great together. He was a great guy to get along with. But by the bylaws, I wasn’t allowed to be part the crew. I was just a mascot for the drill team. Michael was my best bud. He saw both of my kids before he went to the FDNY. He will always be in my heart! God bless you. Sorry did not get in touch sooner, but grief has been hard. Will love him always, best friends forever!
