Patrick J. King

Patrick J. King‚ 40‚ a Chicago Fire Department member‚ died of smoke inhalation and burns on February 12‚ 1998 after he and another firefighter were trapped inside of a burning building and the roof collapsed. King had spent 19 years as a paramedic before completing firefighter training. He came from a family of Chicago firefighters. Also killed in this incident was Firefighter Anthony E. Lockhart.

  1. I worked at holy cross er. Pat and his partner, Herby were paramedics at that time. They were both so carrying to their patients. It was just heart breaking to hear of Patricks death!
