Peter L. Freund

Peter was a dedicated firefighter who reached the rank of Lieutenant. He was a firefighter for NYC for 23 years.

Beloved father of Ron‚ Dori‚ Julie‚ and Peter. Loving husband of Robin.

Peter coached youth football‚ baseball‚ and softball‚ his hobbies were star gazing‚ jogging‚ computers‚ reading and music.

I would like Peter to be remembered as a caring gentle man‚ who always thought of others before himself. He loved fighting fires and raising his children.

  5. I ran the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk in Mobile AL this morning, September 11, 2021 in honor of Lt. Peter Freund. I will never forget the sacrifices made by him and his fellow first responders that fateful day. God bless them all.

  6. I was able to participate in a 9-11 Tunnel 2 Towers event today and was given Peter Fruends name to wear. It was humbling to learn more about him and his family and the sacrifices they all made for our country. Thank you for your service and thank you to the family for supporting Peter in his career as a firefighter.
