Vincent G. Halloran

Vincent G. Halloran‚ 43‚ lieutenant‚ FDNY‚ Ladder 8. A veteran of 20 years‚ he served as a firefighter with Engine 262 in Queens and with Engine 43 in the Bronx. A father of five children‚ Halloran and his wife were expecting their sixth child. The same calm manner he brought to the firehouse served him well at home. He included his children’s friends on family trips‚ and every summer he and his wife had kids from Ireland come to stay with the family.

    uniform it is for you and our families. You will never be forgotten.
    Your family misses you SO much. You would be so proud of Marie and the strives that your children have made. They are absolutely beautiful people.

    My name is Jaymee, my husband is a firefighter out of station 173 in Avondale, Arizona (just west of Phoenix). He participated in a stair climb today (9/9/2017) including 2,600 steps in honor of your dad/husband/cousin/uncle/neighbor/friend Vincent Halloran. His photo and name badge were attached to my husband’s turnouts the entire time, in remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice Vincent gave on that day. You are in our hearts and on our minds, God Bless. Hope all is well wherever this note finds you!

    I participated in the Denver Stair Climb today, 9/11/18, in honor of Vincent. Each year we select a firefighter to climb for and each year I carry the names of the firefighters I selected in years previous. Vincent will forever be a part of my climb and a part of my heart.
