Lt. Wilbur “Lee” Pinnell was a mountain of a man that had a heart of gold. He retired from the U.S. Navy and decided he needed to do more for his country and community so he join the Winchester Fire Department. On a cold night on January 7, 1995 while fighting a fire he left this earth. I’m proud to say he was my uncle and hero, the world is a better place for having him in it.
