Karen Andrew joined the Foundation team on August 23, 2021, as the new Receptionist in our Emmitsburg office. Prior to this position, Karen worked in a medical office for many years, ensuring the office met its daily goals. Initially hired as the Receptionist to assist the office operations, she learned the many functions of running an office which landed her to advance as the Office Manager. She enjoys working with people, especially connecting with visitors and customers. She understands the importance of a receptionist being the first impression to an organization and values the opportunity to become the person that will represent the Foundation when visiting the Emmitsburg office. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her two children and six grandchildren. When she is not with her family, you will find her volunteering at a local horse rescue, dog rescue, and cat rescue.
