For the Community

Laconia Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters

The community is encouraged to attend and show their support during the Memorial Weekend, both the Candlelight Service and Memorial Service are open to the community. If you can’t be with us in person there are several ways that you can help us honor America’s fallen heroes.

For the Fire Service

Members of the fire service make this a special time for the families of our fallen heroes. Many families have told us how much they appreciate the honor bestowed upon their loved ones at the National Tribute. The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend is also a time for sharing and healing for the families and co-workers of our fallen firefighters.

For Returning Families

Many of you have attended the events and know how special and healing the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend is for the fire service family. We invite families of fallen firefighters honored in previous years to return for the Memorial Weekend.

For New Families
