Watch Fox 5’s Because of You segment with Gwen Tolbart as she sits down with the Hedrick family and others, to tell the story of their son, Kenny. The Kenneth M. Hedrick Memorial Scholarship Fund is the second Foundation scholarship fund that is designed to provide scholarships that meets the full four-year cost of college tuition and books. These funds are made possible through a generous donation by Dave Levy, a former firefighter from the nearby Chillum-Adelphi Volunteer Fire Department. The first recipient of this scholarship was awarded to Richard Moorman during a ceremony on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Morningside Volunteer Fire Department. Because of You with Gwen Tolbart will tell the story of Kenny and how his legacy has impacted Richard.
