Aliza continues her studies in Social Work at Millersville University and recently declared her minor in criminology. Her career goal is to assist kids and their families through everyday hardships and help them through problems that require professional assistance, possibly with a focus on mental/behavioral health.
She has recently scaled back her involvement with a travelling softball team so that she can focus more on her education and maintain her academic excellence standing. Aliza has been actively employed over the past two summers at the Jones Family Farm.
Captain Todd Gibney shares, “Aliza’s choice to pursue social work was influenced by a combination of her upbringing and kind-hearted nature, just like her father, along with her personal experience surrounding the death of her father.”
