Devin is a certified firefighter and EMT and currently works for the post office as a mail carrier. Devin is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in business. His goal to is to learn more about running a business so that he may start his own business after graduation.
Devin assists his fire department with the many fundraisers it takes to run a volunteer fire department and responds to fire related incidents as time allows. He desires to help people and children as he has been helped by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the scholarship committee and its partners.
Firefighter Dan Ramos states, “Devin is a very determined individual that succeeds in all he sets his mind to. He has overcome many obstacles in his life and wants to position himself to help others the way others have helped him.”. Adds Ceidra Mansfield, “Devin is very tenacious in all he does. He may not know this, but he shines very bright and draws people in. Devin has a strong desire to succeed.”
