Imani is currently a freshman at Alabama State University and is the second oldest of four children. She is pursuing an education in music composition. Upon graduation, Imani plans to obtain a career as a musical composer.
Imani currently is involved in her school’s Street Team to promote school spirit and involvement; participates in Real Talk, a school-based organization based upon spreading the love and joy of Christ; and The Curve which is a women’s empowerment organization that provides mentoring for ASU students and volunteers with community businesses, churches, and community events.
Lieutenant Falencia Frazier states, “I have watched Imani grow to be a resilient young lady who serves as an amazing example to others by participating with several service and volunteer organizations.” Professor Michael Westmoreland adds, “Ms. Armstrong demonstrates through actions that she is a hard-working, conscientious, well-educated, and talented student.”
