Kathleen values the importance of a college degree. She is majoring in Accounting and has set her career objective to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to pursue a career in public accounting. Being a past recipient of the Sarbanes scholarship, she has come to realize how powerful education is as a tool to change the world.

She is already gaining valuable experience with her current part- time job at an accounting firm, having completed a Spring internship and preparing to serve in a summer internship. She recently was asked to serve as the Vice-President of the Women in Business Club at her school.

Kathleen gets involved in her local community by means of her church. She serves her church ministry through various community outreach ministries.
