Kristen is currently a senior at Louisiana State University and is the youngest of two children. She will attend her dream school at Louisiana State University Health – Shreveport. Upon graduation, she plans to obtain a career as a medical doctor.

Kristen has participated as a coxswain for the LSU Rowing Team as well as serving as an officer for the team and the Membership and Publicity Coordinator. She volunteers for the LSU Disability Services as a Student Note-Taker for the visually impaired. Maintaining a healthy balance between her academic and extracurricular activities has been a focus to Kristen during her undergraduate career.

Driver/Firefighter (Ret) Hal Grout states, “I have known Kristen for several years after meeting her and her family at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. The personal and academic drive that I have seen in her while finding the time to be a collegiate athlete is second to none. Kristen’s motivation to become a Physician is an inspiration to all while making the Foundation proud.”
