Ryan is currently a senior in high school. He plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration. After obtaining his degree, Ryan plans to attend the fire academy to become a firefighter, just as his father before him.

He hopes to be a firefighter and start his own business as a second job. Ryan works for an indoor gaming arena and when not studying or work, enjoys playing lacrosse. His personal goal for himself is to put his mental health first through daily exercise, healthy eating, and proper sleep. Ryan shares that he thrives when he can do these things daily.

Deputy Chief John Dowling says, “Ryan is very involved in the community. Since I have known him, he has held multiple jobs, actively participated on various sports teams, and always shows love for his family and friends. I am proud to have watched Ryan grow from a strong boy into a strong young man through the adversity of losing his father. I admire him for wanting to become a firefighter to save lives and help people as his father did.”
