  1. Growing up my dad would play Beatles songs for my brother and I at bedtime on his guitar. He was a classic rock fan and later in life loved blues music. He enjoyed skiing, riding his road bike, going to the gym and hiking Mt. Peak. He taught me about investing my money and I call upon the knowledge he instilled in me to work hard and make smart decisions in life. He loved to laugh and tell stories. I grew up loving spicy food because that’s how he cooked everything! He was a single father who raised three kids on his own and I’m so thankful he stepped up for the challenge. I love and miss my dad with my whole heart. In his final years of life he knew what it meant to truly live for Christ and was born of the Spirit and the water. His testimony and many talks about God planted the seed that led me to Jesus as well. Now my entire family serves the Lord Jesus Christ. God uses our suffering for good, and his death brought me closer to God. It forced me to rely on Him and trust in Him at my lowest moments. More than anything, please remember Dave Lewis as a disciple of Christ who spoke the gospel to everyone who would listen, which is what his calling in life was. Love you forever Dad!
