Gary L. Cruise‚ 48‚ career engineer‚ South San Francisco Fire Department‚ died November 3‚ 2001‚ from complications related to an injury during training. He served the department for 22 years and was Vice President of the South San Francisco Fire Fighters Widows and Orphans. He received an Outstanding Member award from his local union.

    Your son is following in your footsteps. He is 23 now and you would be so very proud of Bear.
    I feel Fire Fighters are God’s great warriors here on earth and blessed when they return into our Father’s Kingdom….
    I believe at God’s request He had Michael the
    Archangel greet you at the gates of Heaven as he then escorted you, my love, to God our Father in Heaven, to receive the ultimate gift/honor and glory only our Father can give.
