Johnny McKinley‚ 54‚ Pine Hill Volunteer Fire Department‚ died January 25‚ 2001‚ after he collapsed while fighting a structure fire. He served with the deparment for nearly 20 years‚ and was a self-employed carpenter and contractor. He served in Vietnam.
He was a member of the Nuthins’ New Car Club and enjoyed fixing up antique cars. Department members describe him as a person everyone depended on‚ someone who did excellent work.
