Robert Lee Hoeflein was a dedicated firefighter and loving father to 3 daughters. He grew up in the Deep Creek district of Chesapeake, VA and graduated from Deep High School in 1975 with Honors. During High School, he was the commander of the Jr ROTC and attended the Governors School for the Gifted. He was active in various school clubs including the Honor Society, Bible Club and Projectionists Club. He was also a respected member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He was a hero to many in the community as he more than once put his life on the line to save others. He is survived by 2 brothers (Ray and Randall Hoeflein), one sister (Teresa Cartwright) and three daughters (Melissa, Patrica and Christina)
